The much anticipated IHHOI Product Certification Program has begun with gas volume output testing of HHO cells. Cell manufacturers and suppliers will be able to submit their units to have gas volume output independently tested and validated.
Using NIST calibrated, high precision measuring equipment, test results are considerably more accurate than any other testing method currently utilized in the industry.
The results of these tests will be available on the IHHOI website, should the vendor decide to display our certification seal on their product page. Customers can click on this special seal, and be taken to the IHHOI website to obtain the test results for that particular cell. In this way the customer can have total confidence that the claims made regarding a product are accurate and repeatable.
The IHHOI, in concert with North Coast Testing Lab, under the supervision of Ken Styer, Ohio Technical College Instructor/Master Mechanic certified in 22 disciplines, have designed a unique testing methodology in order to guarantee fair and consistent results across the board. Cells will be setup and tested per the manufacturer's specified configuration in order to ensure the system is as close to a real-world use case as possible.
